The Four Season in Napa Valley

Anyone who’s been to Napa Valley knows how special this California vineyard region is. A bucolic, romantic, beautiful place. Perfect for those who want to enjoy days of excellent wines and sparkling wines. And the best part is that it is close to San Francisco, less than 100 kilometers. After the Golden Gate, the blue sea is left behind and soon the vineyards start to dominate the scenery, intersected by the villages of Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena and Calistoga.

This powerful valley came to prominence in the 1970s when some wines produced in the region outperformed some traditional French labels in competition. It hasn’t stopped since. The combination of climate, soil, relief, and humidity are favorable to the cultivation of vines. Here are produced some grapes considered today as national heritage, such as Zinfandel.

For it is right in the middle of the Calistoga vineyards, on the historic Silverado Trail road, that the Four Seasons has just opened a new hotel and residences in Napa Valley, making it the first resort in this region to produce its own wine. It promises an unbeatable experience combined with star-studded cuisine, excellent service and a spa focused on well-being in an idyllic setting.

The Four Seasons Napa Valley has 85 accommodations, including villas and suites, with fireplaces, private terraces and breathtaking views. The two swimming pools in the middle of the vineyards are highlighted, in addition to the bocce court, state-of-the-art fitness space and the Truss restaurant run by chef Erik Anderson. The cuisine combines the best ingredients provided by local farmers with traditional French techniques. At the pool, chef Shaun Acosta runs the Poolside course with Cal-Mex dishes.
